In this recipe, star fruit meets pork neck steak , which is cooked without added fat , along with aromatic spices like rosemary, sage, garlic powder , and pink peppercorns . The result? A balanced, fragrant, and truly delicious main course.


INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 200-300 g of coppa steaks

  • 1 ripe carambola

  • 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable stock granules

  • Garlic powder to taste

  • Pink peppercorns to taste

  • 1 sprig of rosemary

  • 3-4 sage leaves

  1. Wash the carambola well, cut it into thin slices and set it aside.

  2. In a non-stick pan, brown the coppa steaks with the rosemary , sage , garlic powder and pink pepper , without adding oil or butter.

  3. Add the star fruit , the granulated broth dissolved in very little water and the cornstarch to bind the flavours.

  4. Let it cook over medium heat for a few minutes, until the meat is well cooked and the star fruit is softened.

  5. Serve piping hot, garnished with a few slices of fruit and a sprinkling of pink pepper.
